Nefarious! - Something About Us (Daft Punk Cover)
Daft Punk can have my soul. I’m really not doing anything with it, and I’m sure they are fully capable of transforming it into something amazing!

Build Me Up Buttercup | The Foundations
This song gives me chills. Almost every time I hear it. I have no idea why, but it does.
This song is what pulled me over into the dark side of the fandom that is Lady GaGa. I love 30 seconds to Mars. I don’t really know enough about their music though. Jared Leto, the lead singer is an amazing actor. The only movie I’ve ever seen him in is Requiem for a Dream. The movie was so real and good, it made me sick. It disgusted me on a very deep level. He’s also admitted to being gay in an online interview.
Jared Leto: First off, let me start by saying that yes, I am in fact gay.
AOL interviewer: Are you serious?
Jared Leto: As a goose.
It doesn’t matter if an artist is gay or not in my opinion. Furthermore, I don’t think that they have an obligation to “come out.” I do however like what he’s done here. It doesn’t matter if he is or not. Finding out an actor/musician/artist is gay is the same thing as finding out they’re from a different country or have a learning disability. It really shouldn’t affect how they do what they do.
After listening to this cover though, I slowly fell head over heals with GaGa.
Asleep | The Smiths
This song is amazing. It is far from decent. It is beautiful. It is referenced in one of my favorite books. An amazing wonderful book that I feel is quite possibly the best voice of my generation with a timelessness that few authors can capture, The Perks of Being a Wallflower. It will be a movie soon. It will be starring Emma Thompson, Hermione.

Pokemon // Lavender Town Theme
Can I just say that this is my favorite pokemon town and its theme EVER?
even though I cry a little on the inside when I come to this in red/blue/yellow/FireRed/LeafGreen, it is undoubtedly my favorite town and town theme. Bar none.
This the music from the only town in any of the Pokemon games to have a graveyard. Its where pokemon go to die I guess. Its just bloops and beeps.
I don’t really care for much metal. Slipknot is sooo cliche with their metal too. They’re awful. But I’ve started to really like them. Even fall in love with them. This song is very down, depressing, and angry. I had a group of friends that were all in a car accident together while Slipknot was playing
This song fits very much right now with the people in my life that I used to call “friends.” They insist on berating me for the past. I’ve been kicked and pushed down and flat out bullied. But I’m not telling you this to play the role of the victim.
They told me that I was “a horrible evil person, and everything I have coming to me in life I deserve.” It initially upset and shocked me. The next day I woke up laughing about it. I see nothing but good intentions and wonderment in my future. Yes, I’ve had that coming for some time now. If I love them I just have to let them go like the song says. And hopefully, they’re capable of the same.
I finally fucking get it. A song lyric that’s meaning has escaped me finally popped today. Its knowledge came into my being. And at that particular moment I was moved. I started shaking. I trust way too easy. I learned this tonight. It all snapped together. The song title is, “I’ll Believe in Anything.” How beautifully agnostic. How simple and pure. The name of the band is Wolf Parade. Anything parading is automatically grand in my book, the fact that it happens to be wolves make it all the better!
This a band, that like most, I resisted their rise to fame. I don’t like being turned onto music by other people. I know that’s stupid and stubborn. I’ll start working on that.
This song I feel pretty much sums up how I feel about myself. I know its kind of typical, depressing teenager music. But it comes from lesbian sisters. That’s pretty awesome!
